The Stables is set within a designated area of outstanding
natural beauty. It stands in 42 acres of magnificent private parkland
and adjoins the Tehidy Park golf course & 250 acres of woodlands.
The Stables was once part of the Tehidy estate, dating back over
700 years. It was home to the Basset family who were local land
& mine owners - this was back in the days when Cornwall had
a thriving tin industry
Situated close to the North Cornish Coast with superb sandy beaches
just 10 minutes away Portreath 3 miles and the glorious National
Trust beach at Godrevy 5 miles. The North Cornish Coast is home
to some of the county's finest surfing beaches and also home to
many of the seal population, often seen in and around the secluded
coves
